‘Pamana’ marks 20-year record
February 18, 2015

Robinsons Homes, with a heritage that dates back to the 1990’s, now has a track record of building enduring addresses that stand the test of time. It celebrated its 20th anniversary recently in simple ceremonies at their office in Robinsons Galleria Ortigas.

Calling its achievement as “pamana” (inheritance), Robinsons Homes said that after 20 years, it had provided Filipinos not just houses but homes.

“We prefer to use the Tagalog term ‘pamana’ instead of its English term of ‘inheritance’ because the local word is close to every family’s heart,” Cora Ang Ley, Robinsons Homes business unit general manager said.

Robinsons Homes is known for constructing subdivisions that are convenient for families in key urbanized locations in the Philippines. The company has developed 32 residential subdivisions in Laoag, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Antipolo, Batangas, Cavite, Cebu, Davao, Cagayan De Oro and General Santos City.

During the celebration, the company showed a picture of the first Robinsons Home subdivision built in 1995 in San Jose, Antipolo. Ley said that is one of the “pamana” they want to pass on to the next generation.

“What makes a house a home is not the structure but the memories that you pass on from generation to generation,” she added.

“For the next 20 years, we look forward to continue our commitment to provide a good life to Filipino families and to expand our development,” Ley announced after raising a toast to the company’s achievements. “Hopefully 20 years from now, we can look back and say, this is where we started to make the dream a reality.”

To mark its celebration, Robinsons Homes highlighted its three sub-brands development: Bloomfields, Brighton, and Springdale.

Bloomfields subdivisions, with a lot size averaging from 320 sqm and up, are for bigger families who live with their extended family.

The Bloomfields subdivisions feature a contemporary tropical design that uses an Asian tropical concept that provides natural lighting and ventilation where bigger families can “live in full bloom,” she said.

There can be “brighter days ahead” in the Brighton subdivisions where growing families can live.

Brighton, a contemporary Mediterranean-inspired development, is ideal for OFW families and to local businessman who prefer a more practical and efficient living spaces. Brighton offers an average lot size of 180 sqm.

Brighton Baliwag , Robinsons Vineyard, St. Judith Hills, and Fresno Parkview are the Brighton projects that were already built.

On the other hand, Springdale subdivisions lets “the good life spring anew.” This sub-brand showcases a simple but elegant design. It has an average 120 sqm lot size.

Springdale, according to Ley, is ideal for couples who are just starting their families or for those who want to invest in their first home.

Robinson Homes has built communities located near work places, schools, commercial centers and major thoroughfares and public transportation.

“We recognize that space requirements will change as a family grows. The advantage of a Robinsons Homes property is that there are options of choosing house layouts that can accommodate growing or extended families,” she said.

Each master planned development is defined by a distinct architectural concept rich in style and character. With house designs and themes to suit the varying aesthetic sensibilities of Filipino families, there should be something for everyone.

Through the ‘House Design Collection’ that features a wide architectural portfolio of house designs for every lot size, homeowners have the option of choosing a home that best suits their needs.

Attentive to the aspiration of its clientele for the good life, the company has incorporated fun and functional amenities so that families can share good times together.

Among these are wide open spaces and pocket parks that are ideal for family picnics and a multi-purpose clubhouse for large gatherings. Sports-minded residents can indulge in active sporting events at the activity court or run at the jogging paths.

Children of different age groups can socialize with active fun in the playgrounds, and there are swimming pools where residents of all ages can cool off and relax after a hot and strenuous day.
